Sharish Pêra Rocha (limited edition) - Portuguese Gin
Sharish gin is a soft drink with a unique aroma, dominated by citrus flavors - derived from orange peel - the gentle sweetness of pear rock and vanilla, as well as the identifiable juniper. The subtlest touches of this gin come from the cloves and coriander seed, and at the end of the tasting, the slight hint of lime-lime is felt.
Of Portuguese character and produced in the Alentejo will get its name from the village of Monsaraz. Used during the Muslim occupation, the Arabic term, SHARISH means Xara or Jara, the very Alentejo STEVE (cistus ladanifer). Thus Mont Sharish would mean "Mount erected in an impenetrable barnwood brenhal. Subsequently originating Monsaraz.
Distilled in a portuguese alambique with rotating column, this LIMITED EDITION celebrates the most Portuguese pears - Pêra Rocha. It is a London Dry Gin prepared to taste the still António Cuco.
Botanicals: juniper, coriander seed, pear rock, lemon peel and orange Alentejo, lemon thyme, mandarin leaf, pine needles, lavender, elderflower, cloves, German iris, licorice, angelica root and seed laurel.
