Tasting Notes

Blondish red color with aromas of berries, highlighting the blackberry. On the palate the flavors are confirmed, with tannins and subtle vanilla tips. The taste is persistent and good.

The producer

The company was founded in 1926 by Messias Baptista, who maintained the management of the company until 1973. The Messiah Cellars are still managed today by the descendants of the Messiah family. Since its foundation Messias has been producing and marketing wines from the main demarcated regions: Dão, Bairrada, Douro, Vinho Verde, Beiras and Porto. The company is also recognized for the high quality of its Natural Sparkling and Brandy wines.
