Casal de Vale Pradinhos is a 450 ha farm, established in 1913 and owned by the Pinto de Azevedo family since then. The wines produced here are a combination of indigenous varieties such as Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz, Tinta Amarela and Malvasia Fina, and renowned international varieties, namely Cabernet Sauvignon, Gewürztraminer and Riesling.

Maria Antónia Pinto de Azevedo Mascarenhas, great granddaughter of the founder Manoel Pinto de Azevedo, is the current owner of Casal de Vale Pradinhos. She has been implementing her vision in the wines made here since she took control of the property in 1994. Her daughter Maria will be the 4th generation of women directly involved in managing the property.
