Tasting notes Clear wine, red garnet, aroma of red fruits, floral and light notes The Producer We grew up in a family of producers, with a strong and heartfelt relationship with wine, land, countryside and rural property. From an early age we have observed their practices and listened with pride and attention to the lessons that our parents, grandparents and great grandparents have given us. It was then that we learned the first teachings about production and realized that nothing is achieved in this area without work and sacrifice. We have been drinking the necessary inspiration in the family tradition but we have not stopped applying our own strategy when we conceived the Herdade das Servas Project, which was to be born in 1998.

The Producer We grew up in a family of producers, with a strong and heartfelt relationship with wine, land, countryside and rural property.

      Tasting Notes Clear wine, deep

Tasting Notes Clear wine, deep violet red, aromas of plum and black cherry, spices and mineral. Robust, structured and intense with oak barrel notes, good acidity and persistent finish. The producer We grew up in a family of producers, with a strong and heartfelt relationship with wine, land, the countryside and rural property. From an early age we observed their practices and listened with pride and attention to the lessons that our parents, grandparents and great-grandparents gave us. It was then that we learned the first teachings about production and realized that nothing can be achieved in this area without work and sacrifice. We drank the necessary inspiration from the family tradition but we continued to apply our own strategy when we conceived the Herdade das Servas Project, which was born in 1998.

The Producer It was in 2011 that José Rodrigues was enchanted by the Alentejo plains and decided to buy the Monte da Ribeira, property of about 12 hectares near Évora, in a plot of the old Herdade da Avessada, where he planted an orchard and a small vineyard.Buying a tractor and implements to garner the property, led to the need to build a garage to save them. But in a protected natural landscape like yours, this construction would only be possible in the context of an industrial project such as a winery. From here came the suggestion that aroused the desire to come to plant more vineyard and make its own wine ...
